Ronale Sanjay Naidu Tournament came and gone and a lot of memories shared by all that attended. This year, as all the last 10 years, ran very well and was success.
This tournament has gained it's reputation to be very competitive and now all the teams come fully prepared to give their very best shot and that makes this day that much more special to watch a very high level soccer.
The general consensus among the teams and spectators seemed very well received and we had everybody entertained well. With The World Cup 2014 keeping the bar and restaurant buzzing in between the games, it just seemed everyone
having a wonderful time.
DPI took the winning trophy this year in the competitive division, this being their third win in the last 11 years. DPI, as always, shows up with a very good and talented team and sure enough this year they come to win it all, as they did.
In the co-ed division team captained by Gianluca Zavarise - team LBIWWU (Limo Bus If We Win United) made the repeat show, and entertained us all by winning the tournament and claiming the trophy.
Congratulations to both these teams and a very big thank you to all teams that participated in making this day so wonderful.
Raj Naidu, Ronale Sanjay's father, in presenting the trophies, once again expressed his gratitude to all those who had participated in the highly successful event.
First and foremost, he thanked all the players from both divisions for their enthusiastic particiaption.
Raj also thanked the organizers of the event, as well as everyone who had volunteered to help make the tournament such a success.
It is hope, as is the hope of all those who loved his gifted son, that this annual tournament will carry the memory of Ronale Sanjay Naidu long into the future.
A special thank you to Vince Naidu and Ravi Ratnam for a job well done.
